Palm Beach Tech Launches Workforce Dashboard

A granular compilation of data that paints the picture and informs

The greater Miami area is one of the fastest growing places in the U.S. Not only is population growing, economic prosperity overall is on the rise with household income increasing 31% between 2014 and 2018. One of the top "boomtowns" in the country, Miami is attracting technology companies to the area – and lots of them.

When Palm Beach Tech wanted to paint the picture of the tech ecosystem through numbers and clearly spell out supply/demand on tech workforce, educational pipeline and other key data, they knew they needed timely sources as things are changing rapidly. They turned to the team at eIMPACT for help.

In an iterative process eIMPACT stood up a dashboard from start to finish in just under three weeks, factoring in Palm Beach Tech's feedback and creative vision along the way.

Data were collected from a range of sources, many of them coming from Emsi, a key data partner to eIMPACT. By accessing social profile data along with traditional sources of economic indicators (BLS et al), eIMPACT was able to achieve granular, timely data to paint an accurate and up-to-date picture.
