The specific need in the City of Grapevine, TX was understanding the impact of COVID-19 on city revenues as well as the job market in top industries. The city has a large portion of its tax base coming from 5 key sectors including retail, hotels and manufacturing, all of which are disproportionately impacted by the health crisis and social distancing.
Using a combination of job postings data, economic impact forecasts and city tax data we were able to produce a concise picture within a week so critical discussions and decisions could take place with City Council and the community.
